Pantomime Trip
As part of our drama curriculum, we have arranged for all children to visit Theatre Royal Norwich to see the pantomime “Robin Hood” on Wednesday 13 January 2010.
We will be travelling by coach leaving school at 9.30am and returning to school straight after the performance which ends at 1.00pm.
The Parental Consent Form form is issued in accordance with current guidelines. Please complete and return to the office by Friday 18 September.
We will need to take some adult helpers with us, who have all had their police clearance completed, so if you feel able to help on this outing, please let us know. The child/adult ratio will be 6:1.
If a child becomes ill or there is an emergency while out of school, the school will immediately be contacted. The class teachers will be the group leaders and the teaching assistants will be the deputy leaders. A risk assessment has been made and adequate controls will be in place.
Children should come to school as normal on the morning of the visit and do not require any additional food, drink, clothing or other resources. We will be taking our usual break time fruit snack with us. Children who normally have a hot dinner on the day of the trip will be provided with a packed lunch by the school. However lunch will not be eaten until 1.30pm due to the length of the performance therefore we suggest that your child has a big breakfast first.
This visit is being subsidised by the PTA. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £5.50 towards the shortfall for the coach and tickets. Cheques should be made payable to Recreation Road Infant School. No child will be excluded because his/her parent is unwilling or unable to contribute. However, if insufficient funds are collected the trip may have to be cancelled.
Thank you
