Mr Bunting greeted School Council and took a photograph of the new group, ready to display in School.  We agreed to look at the most common themes from the Class Council meetings. 

Popular issues

Safe and kind play – Several classes were concerned about rough play outdoors.  We discussed how School Council could improve this situation.  We agreed to plan an assembly to address the issue but we thought it would be more interesting if it involved drama rather than just talking.  We will plan the assembly during the next School Council meeting and Mr Bunting will book an assembly slot with Ms Dixon.

Toilet issues – There were various toilet issues raised.  It seemed to us that it was hard to get a full idea of the problem without some monitoring.  We decided to put together a timetable to ensure that the toilets were being checked every day by School Council to help us get an idea of the size of the problem.  Mr Bunting agreed to produce a monitoring timetable by next School Council meeting.
