This week the Digital Leaders learnt how to use the j2e animate website to create their own mini animation.
First they chose a background then added a character from one of the categories – some people were excited to find they could choose Christmas! They then clicked on the second slide and moved their character a little bit to ensure the transitions would be smooth. They continued to do this for about 10 slides. They then went back to the first slide and added a second character to their animation and then in some cases added a third and fourth character plus some drawing. Everyone was so pleased how quick they could do it and how easy it was.
“It is so cool that I have made a little cartoon, I’m going to show my brother at home.”
“The bit that was the most difficult was remembering to make the things smaller as they got further away, somethings there was a lot to do in each slide.”
